The 44th Annual General meeting of Dhaka Stock Exchange Ltd. was held on February 07,2006.
A large number of Members attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Md.
Shahiq Khan, President of the country's main stock exchange. The members present unanimously
approved the Board of Directors Report and the Audited Accounts and Auditors Report for the
year 2004-2005. The meeting also inducted the four newly elected Directors Mr. Md. Abdullah
Bokhari, Mr. Sharif Ataur Rahman, Mr. Shahed Abdul Khaleque and Mr. Md. Azizul Hoque in place
of 4 (four) retiring Directors of the Board namely Mr. Md. Feroz Khan, Mr. Mujibur Rahman, Mr.
Saiful Islam and Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam. The Meeting also approved the appointment of A. Quasem & Co.
as the chartered accountants.
