Stores and spares, packing materials and FOL has been reduced by 20% in this year. 3) Financial Expenses: BDBL (formerly BSB), IFIC and IPDC filed legal proceeding against the Company due to non-payment of overdue liabilities. The management of the Company is negotiating with IPDC, BDBL, IFIC and Sonali Bank for restructuring and waiver of interest. Though the legal proceedings going on, in this year interest charged 12% on IPDC, 12% on IFIC and 10% on Sonali Bank loan amount. As a result financial expenses increased significantly. 4) Creditors : In our opinion, long pending unclaimed balance should be written back with the approval of the competent authority. 5) Tax-holiday Reserve : Tax holiday reserve has been created accordingly as per section 45 of Income Tax Ordinance, 1984. But the fund amounting to TK. 38,008 has not be invested as specified in the income Tax Law.
