Amendments
in the Dhaka Stock Exchange (Council and Administration)
Regulations.2000
In exercise of the power
conferred by section 34, sub-section (1) of the Securities
and Exchange Ordinance, 1969 (XVII of 1969) the Dhaka
Stock Exchange Ltd. makes, with the prior approval of
the Securities and Exchange Commission, the following
amendments in the Dhaka Stock Exchange (Council and Administration)
Regulations.2000, namely: -
"In the said Regulations:
-
A. in regulation 1, the
existing short title of the regulations shall now be read
as the Dhaka Stock
Exchange (Board and Administration) Regulations.2000,
and
B. the words ,' Council '
Councilor' Councilors' and Chairman' shall be replaced
by the words ' Board of
Directors,' Director,' Directors' and President' respectively
wherever appear,"
