Training Program
Dhaka
Stock Exchange is hosting its second derivatives training
program from 28th to 31st July
2008. This is a regular training program that DSE will
hold from time to time which will help pave the way
for launching derivatives market in 2010 by enhancing
the knowledgebase of the future participants for that
market.
This
time training program will cover how to gain from derivatives
market, market surveillance and risk management and
different trading strategies. The schedule for the program
is as follows:

Praneel
Kothare
Mr. Praneel Kothare has a vast experience of 8 years
in designing, developing and delivering financial
training program. He is Bachelor in Production Engineering,
MBA, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified
Public Accountant (CPA).
With
an experience of 7 years in BSE Training Institute
and related departments of the Bombay Stock Exchange
Ltd, he has conceptualized this new unique venture
to deliver quality open house and in- house training
program.
He
has conducted more than 4000 training sessions covering
20000 participants from various financial institutions.
He
is currently associated with BSE Training Institute
as a financial trainer. His other associations are
leading Indian banks, brokerage houses, and international
training institutes.
Dr.
Mahmood Osman Imam
Mahmood Osman Imam, distinguished academician in the
field of finance in the country, is currently engaged
in teaching in the country’s premier university - The
University of Dhaka (DU) as a Professor of Finance in
the Faculty of Business (FBS) at the Department of Finance.
He is also the chairman of the Finance Department. Apart
from his academic jobs this reputed scholar has been
discharging inevitable duties as Executive Director
at the Centre for Corporate Governance and Finance Studies
at the FBS in DU. In the domain of Corporate Finance
Professor Osman Imam has been extensively concentrating
to extract the thematic research to contribute to the
ever-thriving corporate sector of the country.
Having
completed graduation and post graduation in Finance Department
of the Dhaka University Mr. Osman Imam pursued MS and
PhD. in (Applied Economics) and of course MBA from the
foreign country to sharpen and whet his talent. Since
completion of academic education he has been engaged in
teaching profession. He is also involved in teaching various
Finance related courses in different professional institutions
and training institutes.
